Layali Grove 2.0 arrives in Delta Force Season 11: Reorientation with new areas to explore, new water activities, new ways to travel, and more reasons to rethink how you plan an Operations run. The update adds Fisher’s Hut, Rock Cavern, and Underground Dock, while also introducing fishing, Jet Ski travel, and a new Assault Boat experience connected to the Breaking Waves mission.

Layali Grove will still feel familiar to players who already know the map, but Season 11 expands what you can do between combat, looting, rotations, and extraction. This guide covers the announced Layali Grove 2.0 changes, what they may mean for Operations planning, and which Delta Force Tools resources can help you prepare before deploying.

What Is New in Layali Grove 2.0?

Layali Grove 2.0 is a major Operations map update arriving with Season Reorientation. Instead of replacing the identity of Layali Grove, the update expands the map through new places to explore and new ways to move through its waterways.

The official Season 11 preview introduces three new locations: Fisher’s Hut, Rock Cavern, and Underground Dock. These areas add more points of interest to the map and may change how players approach rotations, looting, combat, mission objectives, and extraction planning.

The update also adds fishing, Jet Ski travel, and an Assault Boat activity. These features give the map more variety, but they also create more decisions. Water routes may become useful alternatives to familiar ground paths, while new locations may become places where players meet, search for items, complete objectives, or set up an ambush.

Fisher’s Hut, Rock Cavern and Underground Dock

Fisher’s Hut is one of the new locations introduced in Layali Grove 2.0. As its name suggests, it connects directly to the update’s fishing theme and water-focused atmosphere.

Rock Cavern adds another new area for players to investigate. Cave and rock environments can change visibility, movement, cover options, and the amount of information you have before entering a fight. Move carefully when exploring any newly added enclosed location, especially if you do not yet know all available entrances and exits.

Underground Dock is the third announced area. It expands the map’s water and boatyard theme and may create new opportunities for rotations, mission objectives, and close-range encounters.

The official preview confirms these three areas, but it does not provide a complete final route guide, extraction list, or loot table. Avoid assuming that every new location will have the same value, risk, or availability in every mode. Use the live map and your own runs to learn entrances, exits, nearby cover, and possible routes.

Fishing in Layali Grove 2.0

Fishing is one of the most unusual additions coming to Season 11 Operations.

According to the official developer stream, players will be able to fish on every Easy map. The system includes two fishing styles: lure fishing and float fishing.

Lure fishing is designed as a more active activity. Players need to keep working the lure to attract a bite.

Float fishing is more patient. It gives players a slower option that suits a different style of interaction.

Fishing rods can also be customized with parts such as lures and reels. Each map will have exclusive fish to collect. When fish are successfully extracted, the official stream says they will not use regular stash space. Instead, they will be added to a fishing gallery and can be displayed in the Collection Room.

Fishing does not remove the risk from an Operations run. A riverbank can be exposed, and other players may use new water areas or fishing locations as places to look for activity. If you choose to fish, keep track of nearby sound, sightlines, extraction timing, and teammate positioning.

Jet Ski Travel and New Water Routes

Layali Grove 2.0 expands water travel by allowing players to ride a Jet Ski with a teammate.

A Jet Ski can create a faster way to move along parts of the river and may offer a different rotation option when ground routes feel too predictable. It can also make a team more visible and potentially expose riders to enemies watching the water.

Use water travel with a purpose. Before you ride, decide where you want to land, what cover is available near the shoreline, and whether the route helps you reach an objective, avoid a busy area, or move toward extraction.

Do not assume that a boat route is always safer than a land route. New water travel may attract attention because it is fast, loud, visible, and connected to new Season 11 activities. A good route depends on the current match, your squad size, your gear, nearby combat, and what you need to extract with.

Breaking Waves and the Assault Boat

Season 11 introduces a new Flagship bounty mission called Breaking Waves.

The official developer stream states that players can accept the mission, open a gate, watch for enemies along the route, pull a lever to release the boat, and then use the Assault Boat across the river.

This mission flow creates a new objective around water travel and boat access. It may reward players who can coordinate a route, defend an interaction point, and decide when to use the boat rather than staying on familiar land paths.

The final mission wording, trigger locations, objective order, player access, vehicle handling, and reward details should be verified in the live version. Do not assume the route will be uncontested or that the boat will solve every extraction problem. Treat the Assault Boat as another tactical option that needs timing, awareness, and squad coordination.

How Layali Grove 2.0 Changes Operations Planning

Layali Grove 2.0 adds more than new scenery. It adds more choices.

New areas may create fresh loot routes, close-range encounters, mission locations, and places for squads to hold or avoid. Fishing adds a collection activity but can also create moments when a player is exposed. Jet Skis and Assault Boats give squads new water options, but they can make a route easier to notice.

The best way to approach the update is to learn one change at a time. Start by visiting the new areas during lower-pressure runs. Test how long it takes to move between water and land routes. Learn where you can dismount safely. Identify which paths give you cover and which paths make you visible from open ground.

If you play with a squad, assign simple roles before using a water vehicle or fishing near an exposed area. One player can watch the shoreline, another can monitor a rear angle, and the player interacting with an objective can focus on the action. Clear communication matters more when new routes and new points of interest bring more players into the same spaces.
