Delta Force Season 11, titled Reorientation, arrives as the game’s second-anniversary season with major Operations changes, a new support Operator, Layali Grove 2.0, new water activities, new weapons, new attachments, and more ways to play with friends.
The official Season Reorientation developer stream confirms that the update is scheduled to arrive on September 8. Operations Quality-of-Life Updates
Season Reorientation begins with changes designed to reduce friction before and during Operations matches.
The official developer stream introduces One-Click Loadout support for recommended map-based loadouts. The system uses equipment already in your stash first, then automatically purchases missing items from the Auction House when needed. This may make it faster to enter a match, especially when you are preparing for a specific map or replacing a routine kit.
The update also introduces Combat Support Funds. The system is designed to cover part of the cost when you cannot fully afford a selected loadout, with part of your later loot income used to repay the amount covered.
New players will also receive the GTI Field Manual, an in-game learning resource that explains core gameplay topics such as combat, looting, extraction, and general Operations systems.
Mobile players are expected to see non-core resources moved into optional resource packs, reducing the initial download size and helping later updates stay smaller. The official stream also describes performance and stability work for mobile and console players.
Space City Switch and Extraction Changes
Space City receives targeted adjustments intended to make rotations less predictable and reduce repetitive camping around familiar Switch routes.
The official stream describes three Switches in total. Two new Switch locations are planned for Bon Lab and Black Chamber, and only one of those new Switches will be active in a given match. Players will still need to activate two Switches to open the extraction point.
The new Switch is planned to activate after 15 minutes. The Switch in the Test Range is also moving one floor higher, and the map will receive smaller cover and layout adjustments.
For Operations players, the key takeaway is that old Space City habits may need to change. Do not assume a familiar route will remain safe or predictable after the new Switch rotation enters the live game. Check your exits, listen for activity around possible Switch areas, and update your squad’s rotation plan.
Cross-Region Matchmaking and Map Rotation
Season Reorientation introduces cross-region matchmaking for Operations when possible without compromising latency. The stated goal is to improve matchmaking efficiency across regions while maintaining match quality.
Layali Grove will also receive map-rotation changes. Easy Mode will support squad queueing, while Layali Grove Normal Mode is planned to open on weekends.
Brakkesh Normal Mode is planned to become permanently available in the new season. The official team said it will continue monitoring player engagement before announcing further changes to Brakkesh Hard.
These changes may give players more options for finding a squad and choosing a map. Always check the current live rotation and regional announcements before planning a specific Normal or Hard Mode run.
Layali Grove 2.0: New Areas, Fishing and Water Travel
Layali Grove 2.0 is one of the largest Operations additions in Season 11. The update adds three new areas: Fisher’s Hut, Rock Cavern, and Underground Dock.
The map also introduces fishing as a new activity across every Easy map. Players will be able to use lure fishing or float fishing, with different styles of interaction. Fishing rods can be customized with parts such as lures and reels.
Each map will have exclusive fish to collect. According to the official stream, fish will not use regular stash space after extraction. They will be added to a fishing gallery and can be displayed in the Collection Room.
Water travel is expanding as well. Players will be able to ride a Jet Ski with a teammate. The new Breaking Waves bounty mission is designed to let players unlock and use an Assault Boat across the river after completing the mission flow.

Polaris Patrol: Playable Desmoulins Boss Mode
Season 11 adds Polaris Patrol, a new Operations experience built around Desmoulins.
In Polaris Patrol, Desmoulins can deploy Ruin, a vehicle she controls directly. Ruin includes a turret, grenade launcher, thermal imaging, enemy scanning, target marking, and weapon lock-on tracking. The vehicle also has a Seeker Bomb that searches for an enemy target, pursues it, and detonates after a short delay.
The mode includes a guard squad with different roles. The Heavy Guard can use remote explosives and smoke grenade launchers. The Comms Guard can reveal nearby enemies for the squad and use an airburst grenade launcher against targets behind cover.
Polaris squads have access to special advantages, including no Signal Jammer area, a dedicated elevator from the garden to the CEO Office, and an exclusive extraction point. GTI players who defeat members of the squad can take a special key to access the elevator. The Polaris squad can unlock its extraction route by turning in five ID Tags collected during the current match.
This is a mode where communication and map awareness should matter as much as individual combat. Learn the Space City layout, plan your squad roles, and expect the balance between the boss side and GTI side to change as the live version develops.
Friend 1v1 Mode
Season Reorientation introduces a new 1v1 mode for friends.
Players can invite a friend, play across multiple rounds, and begin each round under the same conditions. The official stream says these matches will not consume items from your stash.
This makes 1v1 a useful lower-pressure format for settling a score, warming up, testing movement and aim against a friend, or trying a familiar weapon setup without risking your usual Operations inventory.
Rover and Clover: The New Support Operator
Rover is the new Support Operator in Season 11. His real name is Rowan Walsh, and he enters the field with Clover, his trained canine partner.
Rover’s Dart Rifle fires specialized darts that can incapacitate enemies or help injured teammates recover. This gives him options for interrupting an enemy push or supporting a teammate during a fight.
His Irritant Smoke is designed to force enemies out of hiding. Enemies caught in the smoke reveal their positions, making them easier for Rover and Clover to track.
Rover can use Clover’s Whistle to call Clover onto the battlefield. Clover searches the nearby area and hunts nearby threats. When Clover finds a target, she can pursue it, deal damage, and apply marks. When no enemy is nearby, Clover remains close to Rover and keeps watch.
The official stream states that Rover can be unlocked through the free Battle Pass. Exact ability tuning, cooldowns, weapon access, and final balance should be checked after Season 11 launches.
New Weapons, Attachments and Ammunition
Season 11 adds the MDR Assault Rifle and a new close-range SMG.
The official stream describes the MDR as a flexible and dependable Assault Rifle for mid-range engagements and varied situations. The new SMG is described as an aggressive close-range option for players who prefer to push and keep moving.
Several weapon attachments are also planned.
The M700 Havoc Whirlwind Frame System provides a faster semi-automatic firing mode.
The M700 Havoc Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block converts the M700 to full-auto firing, with lower torso and abdomen damage as a trade-off.
The QJB201 Havoc Wind Rage Feed Kit gradually increases fire rate while the trigger is held.
The 93R Havoc Weasel SMG Kit gives the 93R a full-auto firing mode for sustained close-range fights.
New ammunition shown in the developer stream includes .45 ACP Super, 30mm CT, 30mm FMJST, 12 Gauge Dart, 28mm HT, and 51mm LS. The official descriptions show different trade-offs around penetration, limb damage, movement effects, blunt damage, and hearing effects.

New Loot, Collectibles and Safe Box Changes
The new season adds more items for collectors and Operations players to discover.
The official stream shows two new red items: Vintage Coffee Machine and Fish Moon Fine. It also introduces more inspection animations for certain vehicle-related collectibles and a new operator collectible called Valin Flower.
Season 11 also includes a new 3×3 Safe Box appearance. Starting in the new season, EDC items will no longer take up space inside the Safe Box.
