Delta Force Season 9 – officially codenamed Echo – launches on April 21, 2026, bringing the largest map rework, a brand-new Recon Operator, a legendary .50 Cal sniper rifle, and brand-new underwater mechanics. This article covers all key features, balance changes, and meta shifts to help you dominate Zero Dam and progress quickly in the Season 9 Pass.
Zero Dam Full Rework: Core Map Changes in Season 9
![]()
Zero Dam receives a complete visual and gameplay overhaul in Delta Force Season 9, focused on water, verticality, and stealth risk.
New Underwater Swimming & Flooded Tunnels
The entire underground pipeline area is fully submerged. Players can now swim through water channels but must equip Diving Kits to avoid drowning. Diving Kits spawn near all major water entrances. Underwater loot includes toolboxes, travel bags, and rare high-tier items.
Expanded Water Routes & Vertical Gameplay
River sections are widened, and water levels rise dynamically at the dam gates, blocking old paths and forcing water flanking. New climbable pipes, rooftop paths, and elevated sniping positions increase vertical combat options across the map.
New Loot & Vault Mission
Eight new loot spots are added across rivers, caves, boats, and hidden caches. A new high-risk vault mission is located in the underground area: players can enter through a manhole, open the vault without a drill, and collect rare loot. The entire server is alerted once the vault is opened, and lethal gas will fill the room after 30 seconds, forcing fast rotations and extracts.
Stealth & Environmental Risks
Tall grass near rivers provides stealth but triggers crow alerts when disturbed, exposing player positions to nearby squads.
New Operator: Morse (Luke Everley) – Recon Sound Specialist
![]()
Morse is the new flagship Operator in Delta Force Season 9, specializing in acoustic intelligence and squad reconnaissance.
- Passive: Acoustic Awareness: Marks enemy footsteps, reloads, and gadget uses within 30m on the minimap. Range is reduced against suppressed weapons.
- Tactical: Sonic Pulse Emits a short-range sound pulse that reveals enemies in a 15m cone and disables enemy tactical gadgets for 4 seconds.
- Ultimate: Echo Locator Deploys a stationary sensor that continuously marks moving enemies within 50m for the entire squad for 20 seconds.
Morse is available through the Season 9 Premium Pass and free-track challenges.
New Weapon: Barrett M82 .50 Cal Sniper Rifle
![]()
Delta Force Season 9 introduces the Barrett M82, a powerful anti-material sniper rifle.
- Caliber: .50 BMG
- One-shot kill to head and upper torso at all ranges
- Effective range over 200m
- Slow bolt-action cycle
- Strong against infantry, light vehicles, and mounted guns
The Barrett M82 is ideal for long-range overwatch on Zero Dam’s dam towers and bridge areas.
