Introduction
Delta Force Season 10 "Fission" launches worldwide on June 30, 2026 — one of the most impactful updates to the gun and loadout system in recent memory. The armory adds two firearms — the 6.8mm RM277 assault rifle and the 7.62x54mmR SVCH marksman rifle, along with a wave of new attachments and conversion kits, plus several new special-purpose ammunition types. Whether you're anchoring long sightlines in Hazard Operations or pushing objectives in Havoc Warfare, understanding what each new weapon does — and how to build it — is the fastest way to get up to speed this season.
Season Weapon Highlights
1. Two Brand-New Primary Weapons: The RM277 assault rifle and SVCH marksman rifle are the headline additions, both tuned for mid-to-long range suppression.
2. Full-Auto Marksman Rifle: The SVCH can be converted to full-auto fire — a core highlight for marksman rifles, effectively a hybrid DMR/assault rifle.
3. New Conversion Kits: The ASH-12 gets an HVK two-round burst kit and the Compound Bow gets an HVK rapid-fire arrow magazine, opening up brand-new playstyles.
4. Reworked Ammo System: New 6.8x51mm PLY series, 5.8mm overpressure rounds, and CT rounds add deeper build choices.
5. Underbarrel Grenade Launcher: A new universal underbarrel GL gives assault rifles and LMGs an extra close-range breach and area-clear tool.
Note: The data below is compiled from the S10 test server and community reports. Final numbers may change at official launch — for reference only.
1. RM277 — 6.8mm Mid-to-Long Range Assault Rifle
RM277 is a 6.8x51mm assault rifle and the third gun to share 6.8mm ammo, after the M7 and M250. It's built as a pure stat monster for mid-to-long range suppression — high damage, high velocity, low recoil — at the cost of a slower fire rate.
1. Caliber & Ammo: 6.8x51mm (shared with the M7 and M250).
2. Base Damage: 41 health / 42 armor.
3. Effective Range: Up to 90m when fully modified.
4. Muzzle Velocity: 962–1,155 m/s.
5. Fire Rate: 550 rpm (full-auto / semi-auto).
6. Magazine: 30 rounds.
In practice, the RM277 is a long-range laser. Chest and abdomen share the same damage value with no drop-off, so it shreds heavy armor far more efficiently than a typical assault rifle, with extremely low horizontal recoil and a tight sustained-fire pattern. The trade-off is the low 550 rpm fire rate — it's a little soft in close quarters, so pair it with an SMG secondary for backup. Loaded with the season-exclusive PLY-III round, its sustained-fire recoil decreases shot-by-shot, making it one of the most stable mid-to-long range anchoring weapons available.
Exclusive Attachments
Severance Suppressor: No range or velocity penalty — extends effective range, stabilizes the long-range trajectory, and only costs a small amount of ADS speed. The core pick for silent anchoring.
Lightweight Buttpad: Reduces vertical sustained-fire recoil, improves ADS handling, and tightens hipfire spread. The RM277's bullpup layout has an extra cheek-rest slot, so pairing this pad unlocks 2 additional fine-tuning slots.
Best for: Mid-to-long range anchoring, long-corridor duels, and the open engagement zones of the new AZ3 Nuclear Power Plant map.
2. SVCH — The Full-Auto Marksman Rifle
SVCH is a 7.62x54mmR marksman rifle and the most talked-about gun of S10. Positioned as a full upgrade over the SVD, its standout mechanic is that — with the right attachment — it can switch to full-auto fire, blurring the line between a DMR and an assault rifle.
1. Caliber & Ammo: 7.62x54R.
2. Base Damage: 47 health / 46 armor.
3. Base Range: ~65m.
4. Fire Rate: 600–700 rpm in full-auto; ~700 rpm on the first 3 shots with the burst bolt.
5. Magazine: 20 rounds standard; 40 rounds (20+20) with the dual-mag.
6. Recoil Control: ~97.
Default semi-auto mode is for precise long-range picks; switch to full-auto for close encounters and bridge/chokepoint defense. The near-zero recoil plus high per-shot damage combination makes the SVCH brutal at both ranges, and may even retire legacy DMRs like the SKS in Top Secret Operations.
Exclusive Attachments
- Integrated Full-Auto Handguard: Required to unlock full-auto fire — without it, the gun is semi-auto only. This is the first attachment to craft.
- Chrome Burst Bolt: Must be paired with the handguard to take effect. Boosts the fire rate of the first 3 shots for explosive encounter damage.
- Lingwind Dual-Magazine: Two 20-round mags linked into a 40-round pack with segmented reload (keeps partial mags). The trade-off: the heavy mag lowers sprint speed. Fulcrum Stock: Reduces full-auto vertical recoil and improves long-range precision — keeps full-auto fire from climbing.
- Build Priority: Handguard + burst bolt first to unlock full-auto, then add the dual-mag and stock.
3. New Attachments & Conversion Kits
S10's new attachments are few in number, but each one reshapes a gun's playstyle.
- ASH-12 HVK Two-Round Burst Kit: Converts the ASH-12 to two-round burst. Each trigger pull fires 2 rounds with boosted recoil control and hipfire precision, at the cost of fire rate. Stacked with duplex rounds, one pull equals 4 effective rounds — devastating in CQC, but every miss is heavily punished.
- Compound Bow HVK Rapid-Fire Arrow Magazine: Raises fire rate to ~227 rpm and greatly improves handling. Watch for aggressive "arrow spammers" on night maps this season — be careful.
- Underbarrel Grenade Launcher: A universal mount for mainstream assault rifles and LMGs. A close-range breach and area-clear tool — reportedly one of the most underrated attachments of the season.
- RM277 & SVCH Exclusive Parts: Covered in detail in sections 1 and 2.
4. New Ammunition System
S10 introduces several new ammo families that noticeably change how you build a gun. The most notable are the 6.8x51mm PLY series' sustained-fire recoil-control mechanic, and the CT rounds' buff to the close-range "limb-shot" playstyle.
CT round core mechanic: the high damage bonus applies only to limbs and cannot boost torso damage; rounds taken from the safehouse need to settle first — using them directly severely extends reload time. PLY-III is the soul attachment for the RM277, and a potential game-changing buff to the M7.
| Ammunition | Caliber | Penetration | Key Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| PLY-I / II / III | 6.8x51mm | Varies by tier | Lightweight high-penetration round. PLY-III reduces sustained-fire recoil shot-by-shot — the key RM277 / M7 synergy. |
| DVC12+P | 5.8x42mm | evel 3 (overpressure) | Hit slows the target and increases flinch; firing reduces your own recoil. |
| DBO+P | 5.8x42mm | evel 4 (overpressure) | Hit slows the target and increases flinch; firing reduces your own recoil. |
| 9x19mm CT | 9x19mm | Level 0 | Base damage ratio 175% / 1.75x limb damage multiplier; 160% health damage bonus, same decaying-bonus mechanic. |
| 45 ACP CT | 45 ACP | Level 0 | 160% health damage bonus, same decaying-bonus mechanic. |
| PAB-7 | PAB-9 | 9x39mm | Varies by model Lower base health damage, but hits to the same body part stack a vulnerability/damage-buff effect, capping at a high bonus. |
5. Weapon Balance Changes
Existing guns were also retuned for the new season.
- AR57: Close-quarters ballistic model and recoil parameters adjusted.
- K416: Horizontal recoil slightly increased; no longer suited to open-map mid-to-long anchoring, now only a mid-to-close range transition weapon.
- SKS & legacy DMRs: With the SVCH taking the top spot, it noticeably cuts into the pick rate of older DMRs like the SKS, SVD, and M14.
Pro Tip: Test new builds in Confidential Operations before taking them into Top Secret. The SVCH's full-auto mode burns through ammo — practice mag management and burst discipline so you don't run dry mid-fight.
